Beddard Roofing was selected to perform work on this property in Cheadle Hulme, Cheshire. Below is an outline of how the project was carried out, successfully meeting the schedule and achieving great customer satisfaction.
- Erect safety scaffolding around the entire property for the duration of the work
- Carefully remove and dispose of the ridge tiles, roof tiles, laths and felt
- Check all roof timber and current insulation levels and advise accordingly
- Remove the lead work from the valleys and replace with new Code 4 lead
- Fit new fascia vents and eve support trays
- Felt the roof using fully breathable roofing felt to meet BS5534 requirements
- Lath the roof using treated, graded laths to meet BS5534 requirements
- Tile the roof using a SRT 20/20 Antique slate clay tile
- Remove the lead work from the chimney and replace with new Code 4 lead
- Fit new dry verge system to all gables
- Fit new ridge tiles using a dry fix system
- Remove scaffolding
- All lower level roofs are to be stripped and re-roofed to the same spec as the main roof
- Remove all debris from site
